Access, opportunity, and advocacy

Caitlin Lee joined the American Council of the Blind in August 2025 in the role of Development Officer, working with the Resource Development team to manage fundraising campaigns, cultivate donor relationships, and support the organization’s development strategy.

Caitlin has an extensive background in nonprofit operations, strategic growth, business development, and community engagement, previously serving as Director of Operations at New York Road Runners (NYRR). At NYRR she developed programming and built partnerships within one of the nation’s largest running organizations. Her career also includes client relationship management in luxury retail in New York City, as well as a background as a yoga teacher and running coach.

In 2025, Caitlin became a Para Athlete and competed in the 2026 Boston Marathon, winning first place in the T-13 division. Caitlin brings a personal perspective on access, opportunity, and advocacy, championing the disability justice belief, “nothing about us without us.”

Caitlin is honored to advance ACB’s mission: “To increase the independence, security, equality of opportunity, and quality of life for all blind and visually impaired people.” In her role, Caitlin works to engage donors, members, affiliates, and partners in advancing ACB’s advocacy and strengthening the resources that support its work.
